We are a family with three children 12 girl, 8 boy and just turned 1 my baby girl. Last August I came to the airport and went into labor. She was so tiny at 4 pounds. Needless to say we had to stay in a hotel in Atlanta vs the home we just had bought our first home Only after months of being in the hospital her being brought to Alabama was impossible. At 6 months wwe finally gave it back. Then we had a total of 3 time being robbed, Pictures and marriage certificate, dog bowls you name it, Even the broom looks like someone could just move in, All my children toys and special things. All my special things that have no price. Since I was buying through a owner and my mortgage payments were including the house insurance. Now after 9 months she is home for her fir\st real Thanksgiving and Christmas. My daughter fought and is a miracle. Even though on short notice we scrambled to find a house to rent (they gave me 5 days notice) the first on was in my perfect price range but it didn’t have three prong outlets for the life equipment he said they had it took our 00 and said I broke the lease. I have a very small apt in Sandy Springs near Atlanta that I wish cost as little less and had more room so I could have the ability to say to my older kids lets go to the skating rink, Six Flags, just sight see but that cost money I don’t have. They are very good loving respectful children and because of the cost of 9 pieces of equipment, the energy to run it plus only me and mickey can watch the baby or a Rn so I really don’t even have this money for Thanksgiving. Also we were supposed to go to the family for Thanksgiving with my father in law from Alabama and thought we were going to meet half way. But I don’t think that will happen, between the gas there and back 0, my share in cabin rental 0. Can you believe that we will miss my husbands father last holiday, All the family is coming all the cousins you name it.So I feel terrible not to have it for my husband his father mother and the kids, The doctors have warned us even with a hospice nurse that he would be shocked if he was still here Thanksgiving weekend, But on the kids they have lists made and it breaks my heart because I told them we could use anything in the house and give it as a gift then after church make Christmas.

Here us my wish and welcome help an advice

1, Get down to Ernest last Thanksgiving.
2. More money for food maybe like a gift card
3.Presents for the children as a surprise since they think we just re-gift
4. Dinner for Christmas and New Years because although the baby was born last August she was in a coma and that is what was each holiday for her. She deserves it all of them dog, Because my husband had to leave his job which is no commute .He has done everything he could he does drawing and hand painting for personal children’s room turned in the the jungle or Disneyland, Ocean as store front like their store name, He worked holding the tax sign in the statue of Liberty dress, lantern and crown. Now he is picking up daily fog feces from our apt for a month but he will do anything for his family.
If you know any one in need of any type of construction, painting inside outside and like santa on the store front so your business stands out from others or having something like a mural.Or fish tank maintains he has set up, cleansing breeding them.

How to start up a restaurant/business? where to start? costs? profit?

I really want to start up a small business or restaraunt but dont really have any money. Need to know where to start, how to manage/maintain it, costs of upkeep/lease/equipment/workers, how much profit? is it worth it?

how much does it cost to start and operate a restaurant? leasing? equipment? employees?

I reeeeally want to start a restaurant but dont have any money and need to know how much it costs to retain, upkeep, and operate it. Is it worth it? Is there much of a profit? theres a few restaurants in the are that just went bankrupt and closed which makes me nervous, i would want to make a very good profit and keep the restaurant

What can I legally do to fight back a commercial landlord who discriminately declines us an option to renew?

My family purchased a Chinese restaurant business in a commercial shopping center about five years ago in California and our five year lease is up in August. The owner of the commercial property has not offered our restaurant business an option to renew our lease. We had already invested a couple of hundred thousand dollars in this business (including expensive computer and kitchen equipment), but as the end of the lease approaches, we’re scared that we can’t even sell the restaurant off even if we wanted to. I have spoken with the Asset Manager of the company that owns the property and he said that he cannot give us a long-term lease but we can pay rent on a month-to-month basis.

When I asked why couldn’t we get a long-term lease renewal, he originally said that they were going to do some remodeling on the entire front building complex (the building’s arcade) after our lease ends sometime while we’re paying rent on a month-to-month basis and then he said that we will need to vacate the premises once construction actually starts (he also said that he was going to give us a 30-day notice to vacate as well). But then I asked if we could get our original business location back after construction has completed… A moment later he said that there’s going to be a "70% chance that there’s going to be investment in the property" so that they can "change up the assortment of tenants on the property" towards a specific marketing concept where there will be select requirements for the new tenants: business income level, type of business, ability to pay higher rent, etc. I don’t exactly know what kind of "marketing concept" he was going for or even if restaurants were a part of that marketing concept equation’s composition.

It’s interesting to note that some of our family business’ neighboring tenants are also of Asian-descent, but they have about two years of their lease left. I just found it odd that they were targeting our mom and pop businesses and slowly try to get us out of the shopping center.

Can this company just kick us out like that? Isn’t there some sort of California Commercial Code that says this illegal? But more specifically (and what my family’s more concerned about), is there any way to make the company help us recoup our losses from having to find another location for our restaurant business?

Is this criminal? What should I do?

Landlord and myself came to a mutual agreement for us to move out and void the lease. We were in Nevada travelling home at the time. I told them not to go inside our house and that we would start moving out as soon as we got there. We found a Dispossessory notice stuck to our door when we got home. It was already past the date for us to answer. We never recieved the Writ of Possession. My dad died that weekend. My husband went by our place to get a picture of my dad on the day of the funeral. He finds the landlord’s maintence guy boxing up our stuff. So he calls the landlord. She said don’t worry they’ll put it in storage and to go be with our family. Had yet to see a Writ of Possession. A week later when we asked to get our stuff our landlord would not tell us where it was and that we had to pay almost 00 to get it back. They claimed that was their moving fee. They never told us this while they were moving our stuff. We have very expensive computers, furniture with a big screen TV, music equipment, and important documents including military records and my EMT license inside. Also an expensive mattress for a customer we were supposed to deliver in Florida. They have moved it to a different county according to them. They will not let us in to get the documents we need for employment and the mattress. We also have home movies and pictures of my son’s birth and my dad that can never be replaced. This was in March. We have been asking them since then for access and one minute they say okay. The next day they refuse. They did not have any law enforcement there to monitor or do the move. Just them. They’ve threatened to sell our stuff. Total value is between ,000 and ,000. What can we do? We have nothing. Very few clothes also. Our son’s toys are in there too.
