i’m just a small (very) business and need health insurance?
i work for myself and can only afford one part-time employee. i don’t have any health insurance as i can’t afford it. i have taxes to pay, single dad who’s supposed to get child support (but the mother hasn’t paid in two years), i have to pay for workers comp insurance plus business bonding/insurance, i pay child support for another child that doesn’t live with me, i have the business vehicle payment plus insurance, equipment payments, place of business (lease payment), and basically all the other overhead that comes with the business which is my only source of income.
i don’t have an employer to get health insurance from according to obama’s plan so mccain’s credit of 5k so i can go get my own policy obviously is attractive to me.
which candidate’s plan better suits me here?
note:the workers comp is required for the contracts i work for as i am generally a sub-contractor
